Christy- Self Introduction

 

Hello everyone, this is Christy. I am a student major in electronic and computer engineering(ECE) with a double major in applied foreign language(AFL) at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.

Mission of Life

    The mission of my life is to equip myself as  a good engineer, who spend their time on making the development of the technology, which makes the everyone’s life becoming more convenient and comfortable. Besides, I would like to combine medical and technology to improve the life quality for people.I also dreamed of cooperating with engineers around the world, thus I take Applied foreign language as my second major and spend much time on developing my communication skill and presentation skills.

Reading Experience

    For my reading history, I have read lots of book which helps for improving personal life. Recently, I have a new book that I really want to read is called "atomic habit". This is helps for  creating new good habit and remove the bad habit.

Hobbies   

 About my hobbies, I enjoy making new friends and talking with others. Therefore, I like to join activities and gathering with friends.

    In my free time, I always spent time on being a Translator in World Vision, translate funding letters, children’s letters, and gift thank you notes from all over the world. I also joined lots of extra courses on summer and winter vacation to enrich my knowledge. For example, I have joined Taiwan-Japan Intensive Course of Engineering in Taiwan Tech in 2019 which my school and Japanese sister schools (Tokyo Institute of Technology, Kyushu University, Tokushima University) organized courses, they recruit a small number of Taiwanese students and sister school Japanese students to study engineering college related courses together. I also joined the Winter school Management Center Innsbruck @ Austria during the winter vacation of 2021. Joining the winter school in Austria is a new learning experience for me and I also attend the student conference with  presented topics(Renewable energies in Taiwan).

Course Expectation

   For course expectation, I hope I could become a true "reader" which can immersed in mind flow as long as I wanted. I wish I could develop my writing skills which can helps to express what is in my mind. After all, "sharing is caring" and I believe that writing is the most powerful way to share.
