Things to do on 4/20

Hi, all!

We are moving into the section on Comparison and Contrast. (Thank God! This will be your last essay for this semester. XD!)

So I'll begin with a PowerPoint presentation on Comparison and Contrast, followed by a reading of a student sample essay and a pro-essay by Mark Twain. Remember, this time drafts without a proper plan (outline) and clear thesis statements and topic sentences will be rejected instantly!

Then our TA Cathy will give a second mini-lesson on expression. She has been working hard on your drafts and trying to find ways to help you help yourself when drafting. Thank you, Cathy!

The third session will be me briefly talking about SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and a world-class video done by your seniors will be shown to prepare you that our second SDGs-related video (group) project will begin soon!

Finally, if we still have time, you'll be talking about your plans for your third essay and the group project.

See you in the morning!

ps 1. Some of you still have not submitted your d2e1, d3e1, d2e2, and d3e2. Please note that we will not always check  Moodle to see when you will submit your work. Write us when you do.

ps 2. We only receive fewer than 10 storyboards version #2 with your texts. So we'll only check those works. Please give subtitles on your videos, the correct version. Re-record, if your first version has mistakes. Viedo 2 is due next week. Thank you!
